Laura is owner of the Rey Insurance Agency, a NYS Certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) that serves nearly 3,000 clients in NY, NJ, CT and PA. In addition to serving on our Board, Laura is an active member of the Business Council of Westchester, the Green Business Partnership and several trade organizations. She served on the Steering Committee for The Village of Sleepy Hollow in 2018 and currently serves on the Agent’s Council for New York Central Mutual Insurance Company. In 2020, Laura was recognized by Westchester Magazine as “Best Insurance Agent.”

Lucia has spent her 25+ year career in Hispanic media, leading media brands such as Univision’s Galavision, MTV Tr3s, People en Español and CafeMedia’s mamaslatinas.com with oversight of content, sales, marketing, research, distribution and finance. Prior to launching her consulting business in 2020, Lucia was the EVP Client Partnerships and Business Development for Hemisphere Media Group, owner of five Hispanic cable networks. Born in Chile, Lucia is fluent in Spanish and passionate about Latin culture. She is a graduate of New York University and lives with her husband, daughter and two dogs in Tarrytown. Her favorite pastime is taking daily nature walks in the trails of the Rockefeller State Park Preserve.

Jeff Meade is an Assistant Vice President – Operations for Phelps Hospital – Northwell Health. Jeff has been at the hospital in Sleepy Hollow for over 20 years in a variety of roles following many years spent in community emergency services. Jeff’s undergraduate and graduate degrees focus on community services and among his various responsibilities is the planning for and coordination of contingency and emergency operations. Jeff has been an essential contributor to the hospitals successful navigation of the challenges of the recent past as well as ensuring the unimpacted safety and care of patients, staff and visitors during the recent and ongoing extensive construction and renovation activities occurring throughout the campus.

Alain Begun

Alain spent 25 years in national media running marketing and business development for leading brands including People, Better Homes & Gardens, Fortune, The Week, and Readers Digest, and several years living in Singapore leading the launch of Fortune Asia. In November 2018, he acquired River Journal. The publication is delivered to nearly every household in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, Irvington, Briarcliff and Ossining and has grown 40% in the past two years. www.riverjournalonline.com reaches up to 20,000 visitors per month. In January 2021, Alain launched River Journal North to serve the communities of Croton-on-Hudson, Cortlandt and Peekskill. Together his media properties reach 150,000 readers per month. Alain has lived in the Rivertowns for 20 years. He’s a graduate of Rutgers University (BA) and Rutgers Business School (MBA). He lives in Briarcliff with his partner, Alisa, his step-daughter Sydney and their dogs Bo and Brooklyn. Alain’s daughter Isabel attends NYU and his son Hunter manages a vegan restaurant in Philadelphia.

Jessica is a proud immigrant of Viña Del Mar, Chile and co-owner of Los Andes Bakery, which has been affiliated with the town of Sleepy Hollow for nearly 30 years where she and her husband Francisco opened their first bakery on Valley Street. She currently lives in Ossining with her husband, her Great Dane Xika, and two cats, Cat and Little. She is blessed to have three children (Francisco, Carolina, Honey) who are now grown up and have started living on their own and have a beautiful granddaughter (Fátima) who is in her first year of high school.

Ken Reedy

Ken is the Hudson Valley Supervisor of Curriculum and Workforce Development for YAI. YAI is an organization that provides services for over 20,000 people with disabilities. Ken has been with YAI for 24 years. As a trainer Ken has presented at many conferences including the New York Day Service Providers Symposium. He has networked and advocated around the tri-state area creating curriculums with CEO’s, a market research firm and a TV host. Ken is proud to be a new member of the board and takes great pride in being a voice by proxy for people with disabilities.

Has been part of the community since a very young age when parents owned Mike’s Deli on Valley St. Later on renovated the deli and made it Santorini Greek Restaurant which I run with my father George and brother Elie. graduated with a degree in Business Administration and minor computer science from Lehman College.
